I documented the inaugural Latimer Futures Summit at MIT to raise awareness and expand the reach of the Lewis Latimer Fellowship Program — a highly curated accelerator bringing together visionary Black leaders across entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, and the arts. The Summit convened 187 attendees including entrepreneurs, university presidents, foundation leaders, AI specialists, government officials, and industry luminaries, creating a space for bold thinking and early-stage collaboration at a critical cultural moment. I produced the sole brand marketing video for the event, handling photography, storyboarding, and filming entirely end-to-end. Working independently, I was responsible for capturing the energy, intimacy, and significance of a gathering that had never been documented before — translating a room full of visionary people into a piece of content that could open doors the Summit itself couldn't reach. That video has done exactly that. The asset has been used in pitches that secured partnerships with the Edison Awards, SXSW, and F1 Miami, and now anchors investor outreach, sponsor acquisition, and accelerator recruitment across three high-profile, invite-only events.
